Craig Tara is an action packed 4 star holiday park located very near to Ayr in Scotland, and like all the other Haven Holiday Parks this one places great emphasis on it's water sports facilities, having a stupendous multi-level indoor pool complex with slides, flumes and fun pools. This can be a truly relaxing place for your holidays this year - and you have the option of Half Board and Diner’s Choice too!
Again, as in all Haven parks you get daytime and night time entertainment, and there are 2 Showbars at Craig Tara, so it will be a difficult choice for you to make as to which one you want to spend your evenings in.
The park has lovely sea views, and one major attractionn is watching the sunsets over the Isle of Arran. You can take a short ferry trip to the island as well and have a walk round to see life as it is truly in the slow lane.
Craig Tara has a lovely coastal position with direct access to the beach, so you can play there all day until the tide comes in and floods your sand castles!

There are masses of activities for all ages at Craig Tara, though some attract a small charge. For starters there is a 9-hole golf course with sea views where you are able to play either 9 or 18 holes with most of the course being Par 3, an all-Weather Multi-Sports Court, fencing and archery coaching and the ever popular Coke FC Football Coaching.
There is Go Kart hire here too, so you can enjoy all the fun of the track with our exciting Go Karts. Is there a young Lewis Hamilton in your family? And there is a purpose built boating lake where you can hire a craft and set sail for hours of relaxing family fun.
In the large Multi-Level Heated Indoor Pool Complex there are flumes and slides, but also the youngsters can swim or slash around in Water Walkers, or try out the Aqua Jets, Aqua Gliders or Fun Inflatables. Not only that but there are professional swimming Instructors who provide free courses approved by the Swimming Teachers Association (STA). Little ones can gain confidence in the water or learn to swim, absolutely free.
