Hoburne Park Dorset

Located on the borders of Dorset & Hampshire Hoburne Park is in the perfect location to enjoy the beautiful English coast or explore the New Forest.  The accommodation has every thing you could want and so you can spend more time relaxing and having fun. Why not swim in the two pools, warm up in the sauna & steam room, and let the kids be entertained by Sammy Seahorse Club, have a game of tennis or simply relax. If you fancy exploring the local area then there is Torbay, Torquay and the New Forest all on your doorstep. You can stay in a choice of caravans all with free bed linen and everything you’d need for your holiday and if you don’t feel like cooking there is the Stour Restaurant and Bar and a take away service. In the evening there is season long entertainment in the licensed club house.

A 7 night break at Hoburne Park in a Silver Caravan (sleeps up to 6) in June 2011 starts from £350, that’s £50 per night.

Dorset is in the southwest of the country bordering Devon, Hampshire, Somerset and Wiltshire. The coastline here forms part of our first World Heritage Site along with some of the east Devon, and this is known as the Jurassic Coast which covers around 95 miles of stunning coastline with rocks recording 185 million years of the Earth's history.

Who knows what roamed the earth around here all those years ago - maybe a Brontasaurus, a Stegasaurus or two, or even the dreaded T Rex who could have been lurking behind a rock waiting for his next meal to stroll past!

Well nowadays, all that is left of those pre-historic creatures are the fossils which turn up so often in the rocks and cliffs along this coast. Perhaps you may like to combine some fossil hunting with a stay in one of the holiday parks which Dorset has to offer?
